# 58 = Week 3 | Animation 3B: Experimental Animation: Fire

Observation of the stove

I am playing with fire this week, did some observation, watch some animations, and do some readings. I was trying to understand how the motion of fire works.

A graph, as a small reminder for myself.

Most fire, especially dynamics fire shows in animation always show in a specific frequency: it starts with a small wave, then will have one "cracking fire", and following with a few extreme values which large in size and wave. I guess it acts as releasing energy to maintain the flame burning. After these, the fire will be stabilized with a few small peaks in-between.

From start to stable.

Experimental Animation of this week:

Plans for the upcoming weeks:

-Animating stacking and releasing the energy of fire

-Other forms of fire

-Different brushes or mediums (oil paint?)

-Objects reacting with fire
